She likes to see his paintings in churches in their many trips to local cities and towns. It describes his most famous paintings and the style of art sothat the reader wants to see it in its original configuration, the churches, in which they appear. This book is a gem on so many levels that it is impossible to describe the impact is huge because it give the reader a glimpse into the rich historical, artistic, culinary, vinticulture and daily life of modern Italy, where the old and the new Live fabric side by side with minimal conflict.
