I will be perfectly clear here: I love this guide. And 'certainly informative and gives a nice overview of the resort are beautiful color photos complement the book and really fun. It 'easy to read and provides the same quality as regular Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World, but not 800 pages long. Above all, I like the humor with which, in many sections. From image captions humorous, satirical take on the fantasy landExpansion to the list of hotels fake (which, I see something could be confusing for some, but I personally thought they were great), the mood of the guide provides a satirical edge that does not overwhelm the content, but makes' tips on not only to gather information. E 'satirical, but not cynical, and informative, but not dry.

However, there is a complete guide. It was not to be, is a supplement to regular Unofficial GuideWalt Disney World. I knew when I bought the book (which already owned the regular Unofficial Guide), two guides and I brought with me on my last trip to Walt Disney World. While the color was perfect companion to enjoy the parks and use as a reference, the guidance was often referred to regularly during the trip. For example, if you wish to book a look behind the scenes, or if I wanted to know more about Downtown Disney shopping. Help set is also much more detailed thanit comes to planning factors before you leave (such as the type of ticket purchase). If you know that the color will be useful and informative Companion, but not go completely, so I do not think you will be disappointed. But if you're going to try to focus on just this book to plan your vacation, you'll probably be disappointed. And yes, it is true that you miss buying this and just get the Unofficial Guide to themselves and have all the information. But personally I think you need the portability, great pictures, humor and unique tone heart more information make this a must buy Companion.

What makes The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World so “unofficial”? There’s madness to the methodology – the detailed research that goes into the Unofficial Guides is just as quirky as the guides themselves.

• We’ve slept in every Disney resort multiple times and more than 80 Orlando-area properties. Only once did we wake up covered in bugs. (It was an off-site hotel.)

• We test hotel room soundproofing using a sophisticated digital sound meter and a copy of The Who’s Greatest Hits.

• The first time we did Orlando spa reviews, one of our researchers had an eyebrow burned off during a waxing that went horribly awry.

• We once logged more than 700 miles in one week on buses to test Disney’s transportation system, and never left Disney property. The bus drivers got so used to us being on board that one forgot we were there and took us back to the station when his shift ended.

• We also test pillow fluffiness using a measurement process we invented. We were going to use a fake human head as part of the test, but worried about getting it through airport security. We settled on a gallon jug of water, which is about the same size and weight as an average adult’s noggin.
